Thanks to a new battery: Mavic 3T now factory certified.
Good news for all professionals: Following the Mavic 3E, the Mavic 3T is now also available as a C1-certified version. Manufacturer DJI has developed lighter batteries for this purpose, reducing the overall weight of the UAV so significantly that the copter is classified as C1 right out of the box.
With this battery (EU C1 version; 4,230 mAh / 65.15 Wh / 285 g) in combination with the low-noise propellers of the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise series, the maximum takeoff weight of the DJI Mavic 3T is reduced to just 899 g. In practice, this means that all pilots now only need the “small” drone license A1/A3 to fly it. This allows flying in the OPEN A1 category (close to humans), which is particularly advantageous for the Mavic 3T’s main applications – fawn searches, inspections, and BOS (Blind, Blind, and Sanitary) operations.
