Not anymore: The compact DJI Dock 2 is a secure, hightech drone hangar for the Matrice 3D or 3TD. Thanks to its compatibility with FlightHub 2, automated flight missions can be managed and monitored via cloud-based operation. Small and light: The portable Hangar
DJI Dock 2 weighs just 34 kg and, with dimensions of 57 x 58 x 46 cm, is significantly lighter and more manageable than its predecessor generation. The unit can therefore easily be carried by two adults by hand, making installation particularly simple and economical.
DJI Dock 2 offers excellent application possibilities and cloud-based smart functions: With FlightHub 2 high-precision 3D models can be created. This allows drones to be programmed to automatically adjust the camera angle in order to cover the same area on subsequent flights.
The mini hangar can be programmed to carry out flight missions automatically, while still allowing flight and gimbal angle to be controlled from anywhere. Thanks to the internal and external fisheye lenses, the conditions inside and outside the dock are recorded in real time, allowing the operator to observe the weather, environment, take-off and landing situation from a distance. In the hangar, the drone’s battery can be charged wirelessly from 20% to 90% in about 32 minutes.
The DJI Matrice 3D was specially developed for the DJI Dock 2. The Matrice 3D is equipped with both a telephoto camera and a wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter and meets the requirements for high-precision mapping tasks at a scale of 1:500. It’s dust and waterproof according to IP54.
With around 50 minutes of flight time and the most modern omnidirectional obstacle detection, it is perfectly suited to the tasks with the Dock 2.
DJI Dock 2 can operate continuously even in harsh climates and environments. It’s dust and waterproof to IP55 and can detect weather changes in real time by measuring precipitation, wind speed and temperature. With DJI FlightHub 2’s online weather forecasts, timely warnings are sent and flight missions can be terminated if necessary
