Upcoming workshops

January & February 2026:

QuarryX Workshop (blast design workshops mining/quarry)

Regularly workshops – an overview of our training highlights:

In addition to high-quality hardware and software solutions tailored precisely to your needs, the outstanding expertise of our specialists, most of whom have practical experience and in-depth knowledge of their respective fields, is one of geo-konzept GmbH’s greatest strengths. This expertise is reflected not only in our consulting, sales, and installation services, but also in our regular workshops, training courses, and online training programs.

One of our most popular—and longest-running—event series is the annual QuarryX Workshop.

This series of blasting planning workshops takes place annually in January and February and offers workshops in both German and English. Our experts present innovations and improvements, showcase field-tested systems for even more efficient results, and help quarry workers optimize workflows and fully utilize our software solutions. Links to currently offered QuarryX workshops can be found above.

Our regular VolumeX online training courses are also very popular in the mining industry. In these courses, we conveniently refresh knowledge of how to use our in-house software via remote access, introduce new features, and demonstrate workflows using practical examples.

Our remote sensing/drone division also offers regular workshops that have been established in the industry for years: Together with our partner Headwall Photonics, we opened the CHRSE (Center for Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Europe). What began as individual workshops has now evolved into a full Spectral Week, where top-level experts present valuable information on multispectral, hyperspectral, and LiDAR remote sensing technologies, demonstrate workflows for using drones, and prepare participants for practical application to generate precise results.

We are happy to offer customized workshops for groups of ten or more participants upon request, e.g. for:

Blast Design with QuarryX

Our software sets standards in 3D blast planning and allows the processing and analysis of various 3D data for the planning of blastings in opencast mining for greater efficiency and more safety.
