Solutions for the forestry sector

geo-konzept supports its clients in difficult forestry conditions. Our forestry packages simplify data collection and navigation in forests.

Basic Forestry Package

The perfect entry point for mobile data collection!

Recording eligible areas, creating timber lists or plotting access routes to woodpiles—an abundance of mobile applications in the forestry sector. Operations in the forest place significant demands on materials. This is the perfect setting for the surveying combo Trimble Nomad 1050B (IP 68) and Stonex S5 to show the benefit of their extremely robust housings.

geo-mobile’s EZ Forestry GIS software also offers the perfect entry point for collecting geo-data in the field. The Windows Mobile operating system makes the Trimble Nomad 1050B compatible with the wood acquisition program of your choice.

Flex Forestry Package

geo-kombi L1 GSM with Nomad and geo-mobile EZ Forestry

Our newest receiver, packaged with strong components! Innovative Trimble technology forms the core of the geo-kombi 982. The GLONASS-compatible receiver and the integrated modem, for example for receiving AgCelNet correction data, are strong performers even under the difficult reception conditions found in forests. This was also confirmed by a test performed by the University of Applied Science in Weihenstephan.

Combined with the Trimble Nomad and our geo-mobile EZ Forestry mobile GIS software, the geo-kombi is a flexible and powerful package. It comes as a comfortable backpack for surveying, but can also be used on forestry machines. Simply attach the geo-kombi antenna to the roof using the magnetic base, connect it to the on-board power supply and PC, and the receiver starts supplying highly precise DGNSS data for your application.

Features

— Powerful, even under poor reception conditions
— Can be used as a backpack or on forestry machines
