The Blasthole Probe Mk3 was designed for fast and precise verification of boreholes. Incorrect hole angles, incorrect hole depths and deviations from the target hole path often result in serious problems during blasting. The Pulsar Mk3 system is an efficient and therefore affordable option for achieving bore precision—and implementing corresponding countermeasures based on the results.
Using the data from the integrated inclination sensor and the digital compass, deviations of the hole from the target are calculated at user-defined depth intervals. Detailed reports on the borehole path can be created right in the field.
Deeper data analysis using QuarryX is possible by combining the data from the borehole survey with the 3D quarry face model from the Pulsar 3D FastScan Profiler. This enables exact and comprehensive blast planning for improved safety and efficiency with every blast.
